I’m officially addicted to Ravelry. For those who don’t know, ravelry is a community for knitters and crocheters to share patterns and projects they are working on, and its so much more than that too. I’m having fun looking through patterns and adding them to my queue. Once you finish your project, you can upload pics so the designer of the pattern you used can see the product you made with their pattern. How cool is that!? If you are on Ravelry, look me up HERE. We can be friends!

So…onto the next thing I’ve finished (pattern found on Ravelry, of course). A “Granny Stripe Boutique Bag.” The pattern is simple and straightforward, and the little purse it works up is the most adorable little bag. You could use it in a larger purse to organize a bit, keep makeup in and such. I made in a single evening and today my little girl was having fun taking small toys out of it as I was stuffing them back in. It would look really cute with a fun flower, or another embellishment of your choosing.

I used a Red Heart Super Saver Yarn (Bikini) which gave the bag just enough stiffness to hold its shape. Let me know if you decide to make the bag (or join Ravelry), I’d love to see pics of what you come up with!

Thank you Tangled Happy for the free pattern! You can find the pattern HERE.
