Free Crochet Pattern - Making Waves Water Bottle HolderFree Crochet Pattern – Making Waves Water Bottle Holder

As I experiment with my hook and yarn lately I find myself gravitating towards summery themes and colors. I know it’s the middle of winter but that snow has gotta melt sometime!

For this bottle holder I used a lime green, black, pink, and orange. You could make this is all one color of course, but the design really pops when you’re using multiple colors.

In the middle of the holder are little peepholes to look through…just to know if you need to replenish. If you wanted you could omit this section and replace it with rounds of straight double crochet. The carrying strap is woven using single crochet but feel free to use double crochet, it’ll work up faster.

As always, I’d love to see your pics on ravelry. You can add it to your queue here: Free Crochet Pattern – Making Waves Water Bottle Holder

Notes: Holder is worked in rounds from the bottom up with no turning (until strap portion is reached). Strap is instructed to be worked with sc, however you may use dc if you wish to work up the strap faster. Just remember to ch up at the beginning of each row.
