After seeing some cotton bags I worked up, a friend asked if I could make some medicine bags to carry her crystals around safely. I was more than happy to make something for her! Of course, I had to keep track of the pattern as I made it. This little guy measures 4″ tall by 2-1/2″ wide, with a drawstring at the top, and a fold-over cover that the drawstring feeds through. There’s also a little loop in the back for attaching to a keyring or cord.

Craftsy

I’m marking this pattern as “intermediate” because there is some slip stitching around posts, which is a little tricky. Should be no problem for anyone with a little crochet under their belt though.
