Scrap Happy Tube Scarf – Free Crochet Pattern

Scrap Happy Tube Scarf - Free Crochet Pattern

November is scrap busting month here at Goddess Crochet. All of the free crochet patterns released and reviewed this month will be made using up leftover bits of yarn. The idea is you can take those remnants of yarn and turn them into fun gifts for your friends and family, then you will have a good excuse to buy some new yarn for yourself! Sounds good, right? So grab your hook and big bag of scraps and lets get hooking!

This months first scrap yarn crochet pattern is for a tube scarf. It’s worked in the round, so it’s doubly thick, making that worsted weight yarn even warmer around your neck. Of course it would look great in just a few colors, but in the spirit of scrap busting I went color-crazy, and I’m kind of in love with it! If Punky Brewster had a scarf, I think this would be the one. Side note: I actually wanted to name this the “Punky Brewster Scarf”, but my husband said too many people wouldn’t know what the heck I was talking about. Anyone born in the 80’s will know!
