Bottle Holder – Free Knitting Pattern

Water Bottle Holder - Free Knitting Pattern

Water bottle holders are incredibly handy – they are great for concerts and festivals, hikes and walks, or day trips like the zoo or aquarium. Parents, make one of these for each of your children so they can carry thier own water bottle, instead of you carrying around for them in your purse or bag. Make it in a fun color and they might even be excited to carry it on thier own!

After designing quite a few crochet patterns for water bottle holders, I really wanted to design a knitting pattern for one.
At first I was going to use DPN’s and knit in the round…it worked, but it was very clumsy. To make this pattern more accessible I decided to design it to not need DPN’s. Straight or circular needles will do. Of course, that means you will need to seam your bottle holder together at the end (also not my favorite thing to do), but at least you don’t have to fiddle with 4 DPN’s each with 2 stitches on them to start!
