Free Crochet Pattern – Wavy Lines Dishcloth

Wavy Lines Dishcloth - Free Crochet Pattern

When the cold weather turns mild, and we are no longer needing warm hats and scarves, I tend to turn my attention to cotton crochet projects. Cotton yarn is inexpensive and easily washable, making it perfect for crochet bags and dishcloths. Trying to cut down on my consumption, I try to use handmade towels and dishcloths before reaching for the paper towels. They are a nice way to tackle spills, wash or dry dishes, rest a hot casserole dish on the dinner table, or grab a hot pot handle. Plus, they add a pop of color to your kitchen – anything that makes cleaning more cheery!

The idea for this dishcloth came from a crochet stitch book I reviewed recently – More Crochet Stitches and Easy Projects. If you are interested in writing your own crochet patterns you should give it a look!
