Small Gift Bag – Free Crochet Pattern

Small Gift Bag - Free Crochet Pattern
Earlier this week I released a video tutorial for the half double crochet stitch. If you’ve mastered this stitch, you’re ready to make this week’s free crochet pattern, a small gift bag made with all half double crochet stitches. This is an easy-peasy pattern, even if you are a beginner you can make this bag.

If you have a small gift to give but aren’t sure how to wrap it, consider making this lovely little bag. It’s the perfect size to fit a little trinket, some special candies, or a small jewelry box.

This is a great opportunity to use up your scraps of yarn, as the pattern calls for less than 100 yards of worsted weight yarn. You can make it in one color, change colors every few rows for a fun look, or use a self striping yarn for a beautiful bag with no yarn changes to make.
