Lacy Picot Soap Saver – Free Crochet Pattern

Lacy Picot Soap Saver - Free Crochet Pattern with Video Tutorial

Getting bit by the “crochet bug” can be quite exciting! After you are comfortable with the basic stitches and find yourself ready to move on and try new things. In the age of YouTube, you do not even need to know how to read a pattern, and you can still make beautiful items. We all have to start somewhere, and following along on video is a fantastic way to dip your toes into someting new. Compare the written pattern to the video and you’ll be reading patterns with ease in no time.

A soap saver bag was the 2nd thing I ever successfully crocheted (the first being arm warmers). Soap saver bags are quick to work up and use very little yarn, making them perfect “last minute” gifts. You’ll want to use a cotton yarn if you can, but hey, I’m not the boss of you!
